What to write about?
April 30, 2007
I was looking at some writing prompts today, trying to get inspired.
I saw a suggestion about creating one’s own list of writing prompts by randomly, swiftly naming 10 things one may write about one day (don’t hold your breath!). Here’s mine:
Makeup application techniques, spa days, toddler behaviors, celebrity gossip, depression, publishing without publishing contacts, sustainable passion, neighbor block parties, get-rich inventions, and the role of hospice.
So that’s my random, top-of-the-head list. What’s yours?

Hmmm…. interesting. Rapid fire, off the top of my head: motherhood, gardens, books, movies, going back to school, readers theatre for kids, nutrition, novels, damn neighbors.

2. Servant Leadership

4. learning
5. Perspective

Check out moontopples.blogspot.com, he has a writing contest there with the writing prompt “growth” which to me is a pretty good prompt.
Actually, I can’t think of any other prompts right now. I mostly draw on ideas rather than single words when trying to think of stuff to write though you list some good ones there.

Hmmm. It’s hard to condense things into specific words, but here goes:
Stuff I will write about!(maybe more like themes I plan on using)
-time/dimension travel
-high school age vampires
-a secret messiah
-a voodoo dollhouse
-chem lab accidents
-reckless teenagers
-haunted houses
-technology
-crimefighting supermodels
-Paganism
